This is my 100th post. You have no idea how astonished I am that I have posted 100 times. My first post was such a question mark whether I would continue. I never thought I would have much to say, much less important enough for anyone to read.I enjoy reading other blogs much more than I enjoy posting. I'm insecure like that, I guess. It doesn't seem possible that someone would want to read about the things I post. It's all weird, honestly.
I knew my 100th post was coming up and that most people post '100 things' about themselves in order to commemorate the event. I enjoy reading others, like I said, but couldn't imagine someone wanting to sit through something as boring as reading 100 things about me. But, this blog is a record of me ... us ... my children, so I'll oblige. I'm not about to count these things. I'm just going to start listing until I run out of stuff to type. I enjoyed reading your list! :)
Deidre,
Thank you so much for posting this! I feel like I got to know you so much better by reading this list. You made me smile numerous times while reading it, both when I related and when you were different than me. You are a beautiful soul my friend, thanks for letting me peek into it a bit today. Hmmm, I'll have to see how many posts I've done. I'm guessing it's close to 100, if not more. Have a blessed day whenever you read this!
Sarah
p.s. my love language is physical affection, so if we ever got to meet, I'd have to refrain from giving you a big ol hug!
Congrats on 100 posts! I enjoyed your list. Chocolate chip cookies for breakfast...we are friends!!
Quite alot of contradictions! Congratulations on your 100th post, very fun!
What a great 100! I really like how you had so many contradictions. Well done!
Deidre,
I have known you all your life and I learned so much about you just now reading your post.
Keep posting, anxious for your next 100 postings.
hugs and kisses to you and yours.
I didnt count, but I loved reading it. I wonder, since you love to read, if you know Jan Karon who wrote the Mitford series lives in Blowing Rock, NC. I'd love it just for that. You sound like such an interesting person - all sorts of conflicts of personality! Your description of your husband and that you love him anyway, cracked me up. Happy 100th!And thanks for all the time you spend reading my blog - it's appreciated and enjoyed.
I enjoyed reading your list, too. I'm not sure if I've commented in the past, but I do enjoy popping in to read your blog! I especially have enjoyed your past two Thankful thursdays -- you have a way of getting to the heart of the matter.
P.S. I like red too! I have a bit of red in almost every room in my house.
Hi Deidre,
I've been lurking here for awhile, and can't even remember how I found your blog.
Loved your 100 things post. My list would be very similar, except maybe for the fleece. I'd wear fleece every day if I could. LOL!
Sorry about your daughter's fall, and subsequent vomiting episode. I'm glad she's back to her normal self.
Meredith
Great list!!
And your lucky to not have to have your wisdom teeth removed :)
Cheerleading can be a sport, right??
I would love to go to NY, but I can't convince my hubby it would be a fun trip.
I enjoy the ole' 80s music too!!
Loved learning more about you! Your blog is awesome....
Hi Deidre! I must have missed this post earlier with all the stuff about you.
I enjoyed reading it and see that we have lots in common. Love of mountains, scrapbooking (which I hardly find time for),oh - and I used to pass out a lot too! Usually in relation to pain.
I hope that one day we can really meet. It would be fun to get our girls together and we do seem to have much in common- not the least of which is a love for Jesus!
In HIM -
Mindy
