Thankful Thursday

I haven't been able to post anything this week for many reasons, but I have to take time to thank my Savior for many blessings this week.

1. I'm thankful I was able to spend time with out of town family I haven't seen in awhile.

2. I'm thankful for my chiropractor. I have had intense headaches this week (which is one reason I haven't been on my computer). I went to the chiropractor Tuesday and my headache is almost completely gone.

3. I'm thankful for good results from the doctor. My E. (5 yr old) had an echocardiogram on Tuesday morning. She has a heart murmur. We heard from the doctor last night that it is benign and she is fine (hey, that's a rhyme). God was with us through this entire process. E. is not a good patient at all, so I was concerned how she would handle everything. She was great. Afterwards, I asked her if she was afraid and she said, "Of course not, God was with me in there". Oh, to have her faith....

4. I'm thankful for friends who will take me and my children to the Father in prayer. I have been in much need of prayer this week and I have friends that I can call on whom will drop everything to pray. I love that God has provided that for me. These friends are a precious gift from Him.

5. I'm thankful for tent revivals. I've been able to go every night this week to a tent revival in our area. My children have been able to witness God moving in a different and mighty way. E. just thinks it's the coolest thing she's ever been a part of. I love to see her get excited about going.

6. I'm thankful for God's amazing healing power. I have a family member that has been dealing with something for a long time. It has affected all of us. I've prayed for years about this situation. Last night, God just swept in and took it. Praise His Holy Name!!! I don't even know what else to say about it all except Thank you, God! Your thoughts are not my thoughts and Your ways are not my ways. I stand in awe of how you work in my life. I'm so unworthy.

He has put a new song in my mouth,
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.
Psalm 40:3

I am glad to hear a good report on E. I am thankful that you also are getting better. E. is truly an example of the childlike faith our Father wants us all to have, she is such a blessing!
I too am glad we were able to visit, we will have to come again soon.

Deidre,

Wow, I have never been to a tent revival. Ever. I would sure like to experience one some day.

Probably will. If not in this life, the next.

Great list.

Thank you.

Glad you're feeling better, E has been diagnosed so that her condition can be monitored.

I've never been to a "tent revival." In fact, I don't believe there has ever been one near where I live. Interesting.

Have a great week!

I am so glad you're feeling better. I too, am so thankful for family and friends that can stand in the gap for us, when we just can't get on our knees.

Here's to hoping for a better week next week!
