Thankful Thursday

" As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him. Rooted and built up in him and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught abounding therein with Thanksgiving"

Colossians 2:6-7

My Thursday isn't quite over, so I can still be 'thankful'.... This week, I am thankful for so many things. I could go on for days, but I'm going to give you the short list.....

**My family. I am so incredibly blessed to have the family I have (immediate and extended). If it weren't for the Lord, we would all be a mess, but by His grace, we seem to hold it together.

**My husband. I still get cracked up at the fact he's participating in a bible study that has a picture of a woman in a dress on the front. But, he doesn't mind in the least and is so excited to do it. I'm seeing an excitement in him I haven't seen in awhile so we'll take it any way it comes.

**My 6 year old daughter. We had a meeting at her school today to go over some testing she had recently. I knew she would do really well, so that wasn't 'news' to us, but the statement made that makes me want to shout is, "E is such a pleasant, kind child who clearly has a heart for others". Praise You, Lord!

**My 2 year old daugher. She is by far the funniest child I have ever been around. She keeps us laughing all. the. time. which is so refreshing most days.

**E's school. If I'm not careful, I could allow daily situations to cloud my judgement and force me to take this school for granted. But, I am thankful E has a wonderful, safe environment to learn each day - one that includes the Lord and His word in all situations. I'm thankful God provides for our family so we can send her there.
