Thankful Thursday

Okay, it's crunch time around our house. We leave for a youth retreat in approximately 30 hours. 30 hours! So, Eric and I have our long lists of things we need to get done between now and 2:00 tomorrow ..... lessons to finish, clothes to pack, songs to put on p*ower point, errands, errands, errands and oh yeah ..... Sunday is Eric's birthday, so I have to finish details on that, too. E is insisting on making her Daddy's gift, so I have to pull something together. But, that's how we roll around here. Always with a million things to do.

But, I am still thankful for....

**Hearing O singing in her crib this morning "How Gweat is our God!"

**E telling me she is SO tired this morning, she is thinking of taking a nap this afternoon. Glory! We'll see if that happens.

**O's bedtime prayer last night. She prays every night for her friends at school. This is her prayer: "Heven Fadder, tank you for dis day. Please help Zachary and Grammy not to push togedder. Help dem to love each udder. Amen." I love this little girl!

**An encouraging card from a friend in the mail yesterday. What a nice surprise.

**Leftovers. That's what we're having tonight and al though my family may not be thankful for that, I am!

**My mom who has agreed to keep O this weekend while we're away. Eric and I couldn't work with the youth if we didn't have support from my family. It's hard when you have small children but my parents are always willing to watch my children when it's an event they wouldn't be comfortable going to.

**It appears O's sickness yesterday was an isolated incident. Thank you, Lord!

**This is my 200th post! I can't get over that. I won't bore you with 200 things about myself because that would just be wrong. If you are really bored, you can read my 100th post. You'll be good and sick of me then.

Happy Thursday, Everyone. For more TT, visit Iris at Sting My Heart.

Okay, I will pray that you get everything done that needs to be done so that you can have an enjoyable weekend. I'm thankful your daughter is feeling better!

And we're having leftovers tonight too! It's really weird how happy that makes me. A night off from dinner--woohoo!
