**the first signs of Spring. We're still experiencing a cold front, but were able to play outside over the weekend. I know Spring is just around the corner and I am READY! We're tired of staying inside and avoiding indoor play areas because of the flu. We need some sunshine!
**God's provision. Because we're ready for some sunshine and relaxation, we've been making vacation plans. Vacation plans certainly take God's provision. Little trips here and there are good for my soul. A very critical woman came up to me after we had returned from a family vacation one year and said, "you know, vacations are for those people who can't handle their real lives, so they get away from reality and live in a fairy tale". I tried not to crack up right there in front of her, but I did say, "You are absolutely right! I must escape reality because most times reality ain't pretty!" Can any of you relate?
**my bible study. I know I say that often, but I'll say it again. This study has been life-changing for me and I'm enjoying it like I have no other. We only have 2 weeks to go and I'm going to be sad when it's over.
**these shoes for O. I have passed these up many times while in Target. She has begged for them and I caved yesterday. They have been on her feet ever since even during her nap. When we were in Target yesterday, she was holding them and E said, "Mama, remember when I always wanted those? Now, I'm too big for them". That sealed the deal for me. There will be a day not too far off that O will be too big for them. She is my baby and the thought was too much for me. I had to buy them and I love that she wants to wear them everywhere - even with her jammies. (That's also the same reason she's still in a crib. The thought of not having a crib in my house is too much for me).**God's TRUTH. Iris' thankful lists sums it up pretty well, so make sure you read her list. I could have written it myself.

I'm so glad you bought her those shoes and glad they make her happy. It only takes small things to make children happy. The shoes are really cute and such a pretty color.
