Right now, I have dinner cooking - yes, this early - so I can run some errands and take the girls to gymnastics. If I wait until after gymnastics to start dinner, history tells me I will get take-out instead and I am really in the mood for some homemade macaroni and cheese, home-grown tomatoes and cucumbers, chicken pie and banana pudding. Yum!
I just thought I would jump on here and explain why I haven't posted about our exciting night. Yesterday, I was pretty useless except for a surprising urge to clean. What on earth? I have so much more to do, but I sort of feel like I'm nesting - ha! Not at all because I'm pregnant, but because I got a job!!!
I'll tell you more about it later, but it has everything to do with me not wanting my baby to go to Transitional Kindergarten every.single.day.of.the.week. I just couldn't take it .... so, after MUCH prayer, I applied and will be a preschool teacher's assistant at my girls' school ... right next door to O, but I'm promising Eric I won't stalk her :)
The cool thing about this job is that it's only 3 days a week and half a day at that, so I'll still have 2 days to run errands, work on church stuff and hang out at the library :) I am FAR more excited than I ever thought I would be (I haven't worked outside our home in 9 years) ... baby steps ... baby steps ... and, I'm not sure I'll ever do more than this considering how important it is for Eric and me to have me here when the girls are not in school. But, I'm seeking the Lord and following what He tells me to do, and for now ... this is definitely it.
Okay, so no need to tell you more later - I just told you all of it.
So, prayers are appreciated and needed. It will be a different kind of schedule for me, but God will be faithful to work it all out.
Oh, and for those of you who commented on the Couch to 5K program I was doing, I started it back this morning .... starting with week 2. I love it so much and I'm praying my feet hold up - you won't waste a prayer on that as well.

Oh, and have I mentioned I'm heading to the Deeper Still conference tomorrow night? Are any of you going?? Would LOVE to see you! Can't wait.

That is awesome that you got a job as a pre-k assistant!! I have been praying for something like that to open at Sams school!! Im like you wanna do something but also feel the need to be here when Sam is home!! Hope it goes well for you.
