Not long ago, I wrote about all the things that have been breaking around here .... our grill, my camera, computer, vaccum cleaner, MP3 player, toaster, etc., etc. We are slowly replacing things as needed, but it's difficult to convince Eric a camera and MP3 player are 'needed' and what's even more depressing is the vacuum cleaner was the first thing replaced. This morning my backup camera bit the dust. Dern! What on earth?
I've already been shopping the internet for a new one (actually have been for months - there was a reason we bought a new one when we had a working camera before - it was awful). I'm looking for something cheap but efficient. Any ideas?
Also, I just finished this book ...
I know I'm a little slow to jump on a bandwagon and this book has been out for awhile. Have any of you read it? I really enjoyed it (cried like a baby!) and thought it was appropriate I read it after reading A Hole in Our Gospel. If you haven't read it, check it out. It's a great story about God's providence and how He brings people together and how a woman's desire to serve changes so many lives. I've been teaching in Sunday School about the Power of ONE person and the more I read, the more I'm convinced how valuable each and every one of us truly are.
As a child of God, we have the gift of the Holy Spirit living and dwelling inside of us. Do you realize how much power that is? We have the power dwelling in us that breaks chains of captivity, releases strongholds and spreads healing to everyone we come in contact with. Think about it. We are valuable and worthy vessels with awesome responsibilities to use that GIFT!

The girls and I are heading out of town today. Eric left for a business trip yesterday and we're going to join him. He's only an hour away, but the girls think we're going on a major vacation. It will be a change of scenery for us, which we need.

How cheap are we talking? Just today I saw my exact camera on dell.com (didn't know dell sold cameras until today) for far less than I paid for mine.
It's a Canon Rebel and I love, love, love it. Worth every penny! Truly.
Oh, and tell your hubby that when you have small children a great camera really is a necessity. Just tell him I said so. I'm sure he'll care. Some lady he's never met that's never met you! *grin & wink*

Doesnt it seem like when one thing breaks, many fall in line behind? And they all seem to have triple digits to replace them.
