Soccer

We are officially in the season of Soccer!

For a short amount of time, we won't be sleeping in on Saturday mornings. I don't mind, though. This year I get to watch BOTH of my girlies play soccer.

O has been cheering on her sister from the sidelines long enough. This time she gets to play and she is having a blast.

The only hiccup to the morning was having to explain to her she couldn't take her blankey on the soccer field. It didn't seem at all logical to her.

Me either, really. But, she finally agreed and left it in the van. It reminds me of E's first year when she cried because she couldn't take her purse out on the field. Ha!

Things have changed and she has turned into a soccer player.

The most important part is they are having so much fun with their friends.

What fun!! My youngest played soccer and she also was wearing glasses at the time too. She never was a soccer star, but she played for about 5 years and she had a great time. Love & blessings from NC!

My Connor-boo will start soccer this fall, too. His first practice is tomorrow! :)

I love the little ones in their uniforms----when their shorts come down past their knees and the shirts are basically dresses. They're so cute!!

Hi girl! Oh, I remember the early years of soccer. Love that about the blankie!
Last night I came home to a quiet house, my boys, husband and daughter were all at soccer! :)
Sorry it's been so long that I've said hi!

Sweetness! It'll make for a fun memory someday down the road, that she wanted to haul her blankie out on the field. I remember when our son first played baseball and he was in the outfield, trying to catch butterflies in his mitt!

The goalie on our field hockey team last year actually did take her purse out with her to the goalie box- it was the funniest thing ever, just hanging on the cage:-) She kept her mouthguard (and lip gloss) in it, so she really had to have it you know!
Girls are so fun and yours are adorable. Enjoy those mornings on the field:-)
