I think if we played one more game, I could have won

The noise level isn't quite what I anticipated with my nieces here, but it's still a very active house. Five girls never want to do the same thing at the same time so there is always something going on in every room. They are having a blast! Last night, my friend Cathy and her girls came by for a visit. Cathy and I have been friends since 3rd grade and there probably isn't anyone else that knows me better than her. Now, having said that, she knows how much I love to win when playing games. But, she doesn't care.

We'd played 152 games of Banagrams last night - or, so it seems. See this face, she probably was saying something ugly ... like calling me a 'loser' or something like that. She didn't want me to take this picture and especially didn't want me to put it on my blog. I made her feel better by saying, "Get your own blog and you can post what you want!"

I am the sweetest friend ever.

In all fairness, she is the only person that can beat me at word games consistently. And it drives me absolutely crazy. We have played games since we were little and both of us are very competitive.

Add her 2 girls into the mix and we had SEVEN girls playing upstairs last night. FUN! I was shocked when I got them to sleep by 11:00 last night. I woke at 3:00 am to "Aunt Dee Dee, I may need to get in bed with you". :)

This morning, all the girls made me breakfast .... See that dessert with whipped cream? You may want the recipe. It's blueberries, raisins, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and sprinkles .... in the morning. Very rich. Ha! Oh, and that is TWO types of cereal in that bowl. Yum??

Then, I had some help in the kitchen when we decided to make another Cherry Cheese Danish. Every single morsel was eaten which gave them enough energy to play some more.

I have them all day! Good times!

Now, I must go because they are screaming about the toilet overflowing. Yikes!
