ReVolutions

E: "Mom, what's a New Year revolution?"

Me: "Do you mean resolution?"

E: "I guess."

Me: "A New Year's resolution is a goal you make on the first day of the new year to try to work on."

Nothing else was said.

Until this morning.

E (8 yrs. old) handed Eric and me this paper ..... with her New Year ReVoltions on it.

Hers are a little different from mine :)

I love her heart!

Amen. Her heart, you can just tell is in the right place.
To stand up for herself and others, and to make the earth a better place, should also be every grown ups desire.
What a good mom and dad she has, I can tell by her words.
God bless all of you

Hi Deidre,

I came over from the LPM blog and just wanted to say hi and that I loved reading some of your blog. Your girls are very precious and your older daughter is so very wise and mature for such a young girl. Her new years resolutions are inspiring :)
I am sorry about the death of your sweet friend...that's what brought me over (I was looking over previous posts about the upcoming scripture memory celebration)...I don't know if you are coming to the event or if you've decided against it but I want you to know that I'll be praying for you as you continue to grieve.

Blessing to you sister!

Bethany

Precious!!!! I love it! Don't you love when they use the wrong word and it is so cute that you don't want to correct it? Connor kept calling "Nativities" "Activities" at Christmas and we thought it was adorable! He would say "Look, Momma...there's another activity!!" :)

Absolutely precious - I assume you're going to grab it and keep a copy for her scrapbook? Someday she's going to love looking back at who she was then.
