1,000 Gifts ~ #169 - #190

169.  Having a husband that accepts me no matter what.  Even in my crazy, irrational, petty moments, he is encouraging.  And even laughs it off :)

170.  Opening up a new journal for 2012 and excited about the possibilities. God is gracious to allow us to dream.

171.  Finding Olivia writing in her journal.  The best gift of grace was what it said ... that she is thankful for ME and loves spending time with me.

172.  Receiving a huge answer to prayer.  I'm reminded again how much God cares about the small details of my life.

173.  Eric running with me eventhough he has to slow down to a shuffle.

174.  Running with my brother.  I never take this time for granted.

175.  My Daddy calling me to tell me he has dinner ready for me to pick up on my way home.

176.  My friend, Rita, buying me a gift .... just because.

177.  A gift from my Secret Encourager.  I certainly don't need the 'stuff' but I feel deep in my heart that she's praying.

178.  A good doctor's report for someone I respect and admire.

179.  Feeling encouraged, relieved and ready to face 2012!

180.  Having a good discussion with my 8th grade girls' small group.

181.  My sweet Emma auditioning for college Youth Choir.  Not only did she make it, but the bigger gift will always be that she wanted to pray before she went in.  I want my girls to always know that God is really all that matters.

182.  My Emma's smile.

183.  My Olivia's laugh.

184.  Eric and the girls bringing me a 'treat' in bed.  Chocolate ... the way to my heart.

185.  Waking up Thursday and remembering I was saved on that day twenty years ago.  God is gracious, merciful and good.

186.  Time with my nieces.

187.  A date night with Eric.  We don't do this nearly enough.  We need time to just talk without interruptions, so I was so grateful to have this time.

188.  An amazing church service Sunday night.  Amazing is the most accurate description I can give.

189.  Emma crying on the way home from church while talking about the service.  She went on and on and on about how good God is to her and how she wants to do a better job serving Him.

190.  Watching my sweet Olivia from the rearview mirror as Emma was talking.  Tears were rolling down her cheeks and she whispers how God is good to her.

All Grace.

This is so sweet and we are so blessed that God has shown us the important things in life, not stuff, but his goodness, his grace, and his mercy, we are rich indeed. Blessings are so abundant in my life because of these grandbabies of mine, I love each and everyone of them and know that God truly answers prayers.
