Here's the deal with our bedroom .... I don't think I've ever fully decorated it. Since we've been married, I'll choose paint or bedding and then wait to find accessories or window treatments to match and I eventually lose my original 'vision' (while waiting on money to finish :).
I love to decorate my house and move stuff around. But, my bedroom always stumps me. Not completely sure why.
Anyhoo, back in the summer, Eric painted for me. Again. I wanted to lighten up the room for reasons I can't remember now. haha But, after painting (and having to then fix the bed), I didn't do another thing. That is usually the case when it comes to this room.
Something clicked with me after Christmas. I've been in an organizing frenzy (isn't that true with everyone this time of year?) and found some motivation to finish our bedroom.
Maybe I'll post pictures of the room soon (this is no decorating blog ;) but I did make a few things for the room that make me happy every time I see them.
Both ideas I saw on Pinterest and/or Etsy and just couldn't bring myself to order them when they looked easy of enough for someone like me to do.
My favorite thing is probably this printout I made .....
It has all the main 'dates' of our life together.
I used the gold color because that's one of the main colors in this space. I made this in less than 5 minutes and I LOVE it.
Speaking of L.O.V.E. ~
I made this nifty little sign as well. Both are a part of gallery wall I'm working on in my bedroom.
I had plans to cut burlap triangles to paint the letters on, but then I found these burlap tags (already sewn because God loves me :) at H*bby Lobby. I hand-painted the letters, though wondered later why I didn't just use a Sharpie. No big deal, though. I seriously painted these in a few minutes. Ask my Mom, she was sitting beside me :)
I then hot glued the letters to twine and attached them to an open frame.
Eric and I love how it's all finally coming together.

Ooooo I love both of them. They look easy enough for anyone to do. I am thinking of my special dates now. I may hang one of those in my living room. Thanks.
